Our Message to Our Community

At Kahn Zack Ehrlich Lithwick LLP, taking care of our community is at the core of our values and is the foundation that we built our Firm’s reputation on.  When the Firm first opened its doors over 40 years ago, we did so with the mission to service our community and to dutifully act in our clients’ best interests.  We continue to make it a priority to protect the well-being of our team, our families and our community.

We have been carefully monitoring the current COVID-19 outbreak and have been navigating these times with everyone’s safety in mind.

We're continuing to support all of our clients with minimal interruptions

There is no doubt that we are in unprecedented times.  We have implemented measures that will help ensure that our team can continue to service our clients with minimal interruptions, such as encouraging members of our team who are able to work remotely to do so.

We've taken steps in physical distancing with our team and our clients

In order to keep our community safe and observe the physical distancing guidelines recommended by Canadian public health authorities, we have advised members of our team to alternate days in the office and continue to observe the recommendations to sanitize our premises regularly and to have any team member self-isolate if required.

We can support online and phone interactions and meetings where possible

Please continue to access our services and to contact our team via phone or email rather than by in person. We continue to be committed to responding to you promptly. Whenever possible, we will set up meetings via phone or video conferencing and we ask, at this time, that you not drop into our office without making arrangements with your lawyer to do so. Before visiting us, please review Preparing for your visit.

Some services may be impacted

Some services might be impacted due to restrictions and partial closures in court operations. Where needed, we will provide updates to our clients as to how they may be impacted.

Note that the courts, including the BC Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal, also publish regular updates on their respective websites:

The information regarding COVID-19 changes rapidly and our response will adapt as the situation changes, as the health and well-being of our community, particularly those most vulnerable, remain our priority.

If you have any questions please contact us at any time via our contact page, or directly to your lawyer via email or phone. Please also follow this page or follow us on Facebook or Twitter for any related updates.

In this period of uncertainty, we stand with our community, knowing that we will come out of this stronger together.
