Perry S. Ehrlich
Born and raised in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Perry graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Law School in 1976 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 1977. Perry has been a business lawyer for over 30 years. A partner of the firm since February 1981, Perry acts for numerous active and successful companies, partnerships, and proprietorships.
Major clients include an international wholesale membership club, seafood distribution business, steel fabricating business, film production company, and national pharmaceutical chain, together with financial institutions and local and foreign-based businesses carrying on a broad range of activities including manufacturing, property management, real estate development, wholesale and retail sales and distribution.
Perry has expertise and experience in all aspects of business law including acquisition of assets and shares, incorporation, corporate re-organizations, shareholder relations, commercial leasing, real estate transactions, financing, and franchising. He advises the businessman on a day-to-day basis, assists in dispute resolution, and negotiates, prepares and finalizes contracts and other documentation. Perry also advises clients with respect to personal and corporate tax and estate planning.
Perry has written articles and has lectured at the Professional Legal Training Course, University of British Columbia, law classes at high schools, and at estate and financial planning seminars.
