A couple of weeks ago, we officially welcomed Chelsea Pang to our roster of Associates in the firm. Chelsea was called to the bar on May 3, 2022, and we’re excited to have her join the team in the practice areas of Family Law and Estate Litigation. During her time at UBC law school, Chelsea was very involved with Rise Women’s Legal Centre, where she assisted marginalized women with their family law matters. During her third year, she worked as the Student Coordinator for the Centre for Feminist Legal Studies and as a research associate with the FREDA Centre at Simon Fraser University. Currently, her involvement in the legal community extends to the organization of events for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers’ Advocacy Committee (FACL), promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. But the world of law doesn’t take up all of her time - Chelsea is also super creative and paints watercolours as well as operates her own online stationery and print shop. All this creativity keeps her relaxed and happy to focus on her clients!
