KZEL is looking for articling students and is interviewing for 2022-2023. This is an exciting position for those who are fun, fearless and factual! The ideal candidate(s) should have a sense of adventure, whilst keeping their feet firmly on legal ground. The KZEL team is diverse and experienced and welcomes candidates from all walks of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching legal issues
  • Preparing legal memoranda
  • Assisting in drafting correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents
  • Assisting in collecting, reviewing and listing documents for disclosure
  • Student(s) will also gain experience in attending and speaking to uncontested chambers applications and will have the opportunity to attend examinations for discovery and client meetings with supervising lawyers

Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates will have a strong academic record both in law school and in their undergraduate studies
  • Will be keen to learn and work in a number of areas including family law, civil litigation, estates, real estate and corporate commercial law
