Jennifer practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law and commercial real estate. She acts for private companies, ranging from large multi-national corporations to small family-owned business, on share and asset purchase transactions and corporate reorganizations. Jennifer advises corporate clients and societies regarding corporate governance matters and has experience in negotiating and drafting various corporate and commercial agreements including contractor agreements, license agreements, co-ownership agreements, and shareholders agreements.
Jennifer also advises clients on a wide range of commercial real estate matters including the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, negotiating and drafting commercial leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants, and negotiating and interpreting easements, statutory rights of way and restrictive covenants.
Prior to joining KZEL, Jennifer practiced at a prominent downtown Vancouver law firm in the areas of corporate commercial law and commercial real estate.
Jennifer currently acts as the Vice-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Business Law Section (BC Branch). She is also actively involved in the Vancouver health and wellness community, as a certified yoga teacher trainer with Yyoga and a member of Forerunners running group.
