Jonathan obtained his law degree from the University of Birmingham in 2018 and received his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2019. Jonathan was called to the British Columbia bar in 2020 after completing his articles with Kahn Zack Ehrlich Lithwick LLP.
Jonathan practices in the areas of civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, and real estate law. He has advised or assisted on a broad range of matters, including creditors’ remedies and debt collection, drafting commercial agreements and employment agreements, and real estate transactions.
While at law school, Jonathan was elected to be a student representative for his cohort and was subsequently nominated to sit on a board with faculty members and students to act as a student liaison for Birmingham Law School. Additionally, Jonathan was elected to the Environmental Law Matters pro-bono group, where he provided legal advice on environmental law to the West Midlands region in England. Jonathan was also named associate captain of the varsity hockey team for the duration of his time at the University of Birmingham.
Prior to law school, Jonathan attended Simon Fraser University to study economics and business administration. While studying at Simon Fraser University, Jonathan spent his spare time volunteering as a hockey coach at his former high school and the Arbutus Club Hockey Development program.
Jonathan is a sports enthusiast who enjoys spending his time being active in the outdoors, golfing, playing hockey, and travelling the world.
