Olivia (Ji Won) Lee graduated, with Distinction, from the University of Waterloo, earning a bachelor’s degree in Honours Mathematics and Chartered Accountancy with Finance Option (Co-op). She worked part-time as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo. She extended her knowledge in her field by completing the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
Before pursuing her legal career, Olivia worked as a Staff Accountant in public accounting firms and as an Associate Project Manager at a global benchmarking firm, based in Toronto. She earned a Juris Doctor from Western University. As a law student, Olivia worked as a Caseworker at Community Legal Services and volunteered for a family law project of Pro Bono Students Canada. She was also a final winner of Legate and Associates Medical Malpractice Moot Competition.
Olivia was called to the bar in Ontario and British Columbia and practiced in the areas of family law, wills & estates, and corporate/commercial law. In her current position, Olivia focuses on wills & estates and real estate law. Olivia is fluent in both spoken and written Korean. When time permits, Olivia takes the opportunity to travel and meet new people. To date, she has completed numerous backpacking trips in Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America.
