Michael graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2004. He then attended law school at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Law. Michael was called to the Alberta Bar in 2008 after completing his articles with a downtown Edmonton law firm. He then continued to practice with the same Edmonton firm until joining Kahn Zack Ehrlich Lithwick LLP in March 2013 and became a partner in 2016.
Michael practices in the areas of corporate law and real estate. He advises clients with respect to incorporations, business acquisitions, commercial leasing, real estate transactions and other corporate matters. Michael has acted for national and regional financial institutions, multi-family residential real estate developers and strata corporations. He prides himself on providing comprehensive legal advice to small businesses and individuals on a variety of corporate and real estate matters. Michael also has experience assisting clients with estate planning and administration.
In his spare time, he is a sports enthusiast and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
